Thanks to for working with me on this, I wanted another scene from One of Those Days, and I wanted to see Merai drawn right! =^^=

I drew the background, and of course lent his skill to Merai! =^^=


The scene falls between Part 30 [link] and 31:[link]

“Excuse me, sir, but my tire seems to have gone flat, could you please help me fix it?” She looked at him with mesmerizing blue eyes, all he could do was nod.

His brain futilely tried to form a cohesive sentence when Verne beeped. “Oops, there's another situation up the road a ways a bit, Quinn, I'll go on ahead, here take this you might need it!” He tossed a hand pump to Quinn before dashing away, small sprays of gravel jetted behind the truck's wheels as he sped off to the highway. Now just the two of them remained beside the road, alone.

Quinn stared at Merai for a minute. “But, ... how?”

Merai smiled impishly, “Well, Jose showed me, you just unscrew this little doohickey inside the valve stem and...”

Quinn boggled.

Merai laughed, it sounded like a musical instrument. “You should see the look on your face it is priceless!”
