thats how it is with my duster.  it does that every year. it drops all the fluids when i crank her up. the rubber gaskets and hoses keep dry rotting.

For me it is the transmission pan seal that seems to need annual adjustment! =^^=

Old cars are fun, sometimes they can be too much fun! ^^;

Good grief, where did you get a matchbox case for a collection that large? =^^=

(I always wondered if there was some wealthy person out there that would make a giant Matchbox car case to keep his full-sized autos in! :D

That is really impressive!  =^^=

Do you do a lot of parts swapping between vehicles?  Have you fabricated parts?

And usually the gasket that needs replaced is not in an easy to remove location...

Then they have that powder that goes into the oil system to fill in the leak. That always mad me very paranoid! ^^;

Yes, the reason the car has it is becuase is used to drive the long run for spain and back. So it needed the extra cooler unit.

Must be a Northern thing, putting your cars away for the winter. O_o

Still, funny idea, the car piddling in excitement like a yappy dog. :)

Heh, this is probably one place where I'd side with the environmentalists...

Road salt eventually turns one's car into a big crinkly pile of corrosion, (Salt air has similar benefits too I hear...)

But I hear there's something made out of corn husks, or something similar that will do the same job, but not attack one's vehicle as readily...

Of course, like most environmentally friendly products, it only works half as good, and costs twice as much, but compared to the price of body work...

Ahhh. Well, makes me glad I don't have to worry about that here. I'm far enough inland that salt air don't affect my stuff, and honestly, if it ever snows enough in Florida to require road salt, that means the sun is going out. ;p

Pops: Awww, heck, ain't worth it, I'll pull the radiator, might as well change the water pump since it will be exposed, oh, and new hoses, belts, thermostat ... %&$ load of work!

(You know he loves it! =^^= )

Well, the same principle applies with most pets: if you don't take them out for a walk all winter...
