Roth in Scraparp Armor by tbolt Roth in Scraparp Armor by tbolt
Thanks to :iconsnowfyre: for replying to my journal!

He requested seeing Roth in combat armor, so here we have it!

His tail is wrapped so as to allow him to maintain a lower profile, He's not been lizardized! =^^=

Currently, he's taking advantage of his cover to dump his cylinder in the Daemonslayer and put in seven fresh cartridges with his handy speedloader! =^^= (you may have to download to catch that detail ^^; )

Once I get my camera set up, I will also shoot a series of pictures to show how a top break revolver works...

Thanks again, :iconsnowfyre: ! :D

I am not that good in such things, I am an anti-war cat, but the details are very good. :)

Ah it is his backup weapon, and the custom 500mag will leave dents in what it hits! =^^=

Doggone! It took me a week to find this! How'd I miss him? Not payin attention? I do love furs with guns! Top break gun? Like my ol Iver Johnson? Vovel, & quick to recharge.

Thanks! And of the favorite too! =^^=

I live top breaks! Hard to come by, though, Iver Johnson made a lot of inexpensive pistols! I have what's left of an old sportsman, if I can ever figure out how to get the thing back into time! ^^;

Pinned construction does not lend itself to ease of disassembly, and the ratchet and pawl mechanism is worn down. A pity, it was the most accurate .22 revolver I owned!

Vovel? ^^; :D

Defintly want to conceal the tail, big fluffy skunk tails are just a tad distracting. ^^

Nice job on the posing and angle, here.

And thank you very much for the favorite! =^^=

I'm really happy with his torso, but I think I botched his legs... ^^;

Seriously, do his legs look Ok? I hate the way they came out, but had already done all the coloring or shading. Given his stance, am I just being too critical of myself?

I think they may be a little off, but not by much. Of course, you're also asking a person who's not really an expert at digitigrade legs. ;P

Thank you kindly for the fave! =^^=

There have been a lot of seven-shot six shooters around! =^^=

I own an antique Russian Nagant pistol (Cheap to get, impossible to find ammo for! ^^;) Chambered for 7 rounds of 7.62 Nagant.

Taurus makes several 7-shooters in .357 mag, and .22 mag and Long rifle.

If I had the cash, Smith & Wesson came out with their first combat revolver since WWII, it is an 8 shot .357 magnum, with built-in accessory rail!
[link] There it is! =^^=

In .22 target pistols, there are a lot of nine shooters, and even a ten-shot piece , again from Smith and wesson! =^^=

(Yep I'm a gun nut! ^^; )

It's like a minature sniper rifle...o.O Don't see the point of a laser though, might as well jump up and down and yell "Hey! I'm over here, and i'm aiming there!"

If I had the cash (which I most certainly don't :D), I'd have one of these...[link]

Ah, the thing on the bottom is a flashlight, a calculated risk, indoors, it gives you the chance to bedazzle your target while giving you a better sight picture. The top is a red dot sight, the dot is contained inside the scope, nothing to betray your presence. I own a couple for speed target shooting, very fast acquisition, and you can safely shoot with both eyes open! =^^=

Thank you very much! =^^=

I will post a series of pics from a top-break revolver I own to give you a better idea on how that works... The gun in picture here is very small, you're looking at it broken open, the back half is still held normally in Roth's hand, but the front part is pitched straight down.

I guess it will be easier to see when I show you the digipix. ^^;

Thanks again!

Yeah, hiding a skunk tail like that is a very good idea when it comes to stealth and not wanting random kids to come and try to hug it, hehe.
