On the left:
Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro Plus Top FX: Made in China. Egad, you think they could have made a longer name? I've been back and forth about a guitar with a Floyd Rose tremolo bridge... It is not too often that you see a Les Paul with that bridge as well. I must say that the Iced Tea sunburst makes me happy as well! If that isn't enough, both humbuckers are coil-tapped to give the musician eight tonal possibilities! The body is made of solid mahogany with a beautiful flamed maple veneer over the carved mahogany top. Her body is solid, and she weighs in the better part of nine lbs. To help keep her on your neck, though, she comes with locking strap buttons! =^^=
On the right:
Agile 3000m - Made in Korea. This is the top of the line from Rondo Music! this guitar matches the Les Paul formula for wood! The body and neck are mahogany, but the top is 3/4" thick solid maple, not a veneer. The tone of this guitar is scary close to my real Les Paul, and these things run under $700! Interestingly enough, the previous owner of this guitar installed aftermarket pickups in it, to give a more classic Les Paul tone, the pickups he put in were made right here in Pa! (Which I find just awesome! =^^= )
In addition, the body is made of two pieces of wood joined straight down the middle, like my LP. And the neck is a single piece of wood as well. the only difference is that the fretboard is made of ebony instead of rosewood. Overall she is a beautifil instrment, and one of the greatest bargains you will find on the web! If you are looking for a Les Paul, but cannot afford $2000, look here! I would buy another without hesitation!
